About repallet.org
repallet.org is a reference on what happens to pallets at the end of their life: reuse, repair, grinding, burning and landfill, the state rules that apply, and how to count pallets honestly in a sustainability report.
Who it's for
Facility, sustainability and procurement staff deciding what to do with the pallets that pile up on their docks; anyone writing a scope 3 or zero-waste figure that includes pallets; and people reusing pallets at home or on a farm who want to know what's safe.
What we do
- Explain each end-of-life pathway and the EPA factor that applies to it, or say plainly that none does.
- Publish state rules only after reading the statute or regulation, with the citation and a link.
- Keep a calculator, the Pallet Fate Report, whose every formula and factor is on its methodology page.
What we don't do
- Rank or review recyclers, or publish testimonials.
- Fill in prices. Costs in the calculator come only from your own quotes.
- Tell anyone to sell or scrap pooled pallets. They belong to their owner.
How it's funded
By referrals: if you ask for a pallet pickup, the request goes to Repackify, a used-packaging marketplace. Details on the disclosure page.
